Holding Ground

Minnesota will forever be my home. I know a lot of people are thinking about/wanting to leave the U.S. due to the exposed nature of what our country has been heading for for a long time. However, leaving this place is not something that I have the privilege of doing, so I’m choosing to not stay quietly. I’m choosing to speak up for all the people that stay here - whether by choice or circumstance. It’s beautiful that we’ve learned how to show up for one another, but I wish that didn’t come at the expense of so many of our community members’ safety.
