IDEALIST Storyworld Micro-Grant:
Bring Your Storyworld to Life

IDEALIST’s Storyworld Micro-Grant is designed to help standouts of the Movie Map Atlas: Global Storyworld Challenge turn their creative ideas into real-world impact. Whether it’s a neighborhood space, park, school area, or other corner of your community, this grant supports creative, civic, or community-focused projects inspired by your storyworld submission.

Funding amounts will be determined by IDEALIST based on the project plan and documentation provided, up to $250 USD.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Explain what you want to create, improve, or reimagine in your community.

2. Mentorship & Guidance

  • Participate in a brief interview with IDEALIST.

  • Receive support from an IDEALIST Mentor who will guide you through project planning and creative execution.

3. Orientation & Check-Ins

  • Attend one virtual orientation session.

  • Participate in at least three virtual project check-in meetings with your mentor.

4. Funding & Oversight

  • Grant funds will be distributed in 2–3 installments.

  • Track and submit receipts/expense records to show how funds are being used.

5. Final Report & Reflection

  • Submit a final reflection report sharing what you accomplished, what you learned, and how your project impacted your community.
